Summary

  • We don't collect your personal data — all data stays on your device or your iCloud.
  • AI conversations go to third-party AI providers (OpenRouter, Claude, GPT, etc.).
  • Subscriptions are handled by Apple.

1. Data We Collect

We collect nothing. All your data is stored locally on your device:

  • AI conversations
  • Notes and learning cards
  • Favorites and preferences

Optional: Anonymized crash reports (only if you opt in via iOS Settings).

2. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud on your device:

  • Your data syncs to your personal iCloud account.
  • We cannot access your iCloud data.
  • Disable in: Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Med Atlas.

3. AI Assistant

When you use AI chat:

  • Your question is sent to OpenRouter (AI service provider).
  • OpenRouter forwards it to the selected AI model.
  • We do not store or see your conversations.

4. Subscriptions

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your payment information or your Apple ID.

5. Medical Imaging

Atlas images are anonymized, de-identified DICOM data from public medical datasets. We do not collect any medical information about you.

6. Your Rights

  • Access: all data is on your device.
  • Delete: Settings → Clear All Data, or delete the app.
  • Cancel subscription: iOS Settings → Subscriptions.

7. Children

Med Atlas is rated 17+ and is not intended for children under 17.
